The idle policy on CoI is a very simple one. Characters who idle for 30 days will be automatically added to the idle list. An announcement on Board 1 will be made at the start of every month. Any character that do not have a vacation posted to the Vacations Board will be dealt with as below:
- Character with roster status will be placed back on the roster. Restrictions may also be issued as listed below:
- Players who idle out of on Tier 3 and 4 characters may not take another Tier 3, for any reason.
- Players who idle out on Tier 2 characters will be restricted from taking any Tier 2 or higher characters for 6 months.
- Players who idle on Tier 1 characters face no restrictions.
Should a player no longer wish to play a character, they simply need to contact staff via +Request and surrender the character to the roster. Players who return rosters to the list /before/ they idle out, will face no restrictions on their playability /unless/ they develop a pattern. Staff reserve the right to limit the number of characters a player can have, should their actions disturb the playability of characters or the RP of others.
Remember that we are not going to police players on activity. Also, connects followed by disconnects will not count as activity, and the character will still be considered idle.
