No one can argue that sometimes RL issues happen. People get sick. People get bogged down by work. People have company and holidays. Sometimes players just get burned out and need a break. If something like this comes up, or if a player finds they will be away for a long period of time (idle time is 30 days), then it is the players responsibility to make a post on the Vacation Board letting staff know that they will be away, and should not be considered idle. Staff ask that players not page staff and ask them to do this. Players should take the time they would have spent to page, and simply post themselves.
Pleas also remember to keep your RL in mind when you take a character. If you are apping a character strongly tied to another, it is rude and can deeply effect the RP of the the other person if you do not play actively.
Not Active Enough
Should someone be so inactive that the RP of linked characters is strongly effected, players may 'Petition' staff to place the character back on the roster. In this case staff will look at the connectivity of the character and make their ruling based on the facts.
